MESSAGE BOARDS DORMANT: Since the inception of the new message boards in last weeks newsletter, I have noticed very little action going on. There are a total of maybe 5 or so posts, half of which are mine. Anyways, let's get some FunBos spirit cracking and get busy with the message boards.
WHERE'S THE LOVE?: Last week, I mentioned the guy who randomly proclaimed his love for Jesus and encouraged you to randomly proclaim your love for me if you felt you've been hiding it. Sadly, no one has proclaimed any love whatsoever, except for one member, who emailed me saying, among other things, and I quote, "I like your bum". My mailbox is always open for (any) love you send.
NEW EPISODE OF DARK ANGEL: There's normally a new episode every week, but I thought mentioning this would be a good excuse to post a picture of Jessica Alba here.
YET ANOTHER NEW RANK FOR A VALUED MEMBER: Congratulations to Jeff Sadgrove who has won the prestigious salmon, meaning he has recently been promoted. Jeff is now Deputy Prime Minister of Very Internal Female Affairs. I have to admit, that is one of the better job titles I have come across in my lifetime. Way to go, Jeff. By the way, let's play basketball sometime, Mr. I work lots and I'm too cool for Bobby now.
STANLEY PARK: For the first time in my deprived life, I got to go see the christmas lights display at Stanley Park. It was so incredibly cool. I was so excited I forgot my camera, so I missed out on a great photo op. Sorry.
PICS FROM THE ZOO: In related news, I did manage to find some pics I
took on a recent trip to the zoo in Aldergrove. It was good times back when
it was sunny.
SUGAR CUBE CANDYHOUSE VANDALIZED: If anyone sees Jory, please scold him for ruining my candyhouse. Despite clearly seeing a sign that said "DO NOT EAT ANY OF THE CANDY", he went along and ate a jellybean of the candyhouse's lawn. This travesty nearly left me in tears as he was forced to eat a piece from the other side to make it look even. Jory, if you are reading this, I am seriously heartbroken by what you did. I put some crazy time into that house.
PARTY AT "THE DUB": On friday, Darcy's buddy Ty had a party at his house in Whiterock, it was pretty fun. Warren and I took the christmas figurines and put them in sexually explicit positions and we had fun playing the god of drinking game. A great discovery was under the cap of my SOBE drink where it said "SEIZE THIS HONKUS". If anyone knows what that means, please tell me. I have an idea, but it's on the wrong side of the tracks.
Congrats to all my friends who finished the fall semester recently. I look forward to partying hard with all of you during Christmas break.
Another great moment in sports history occured on thursday. My cousin and I were playing Maddden football 2001 on the playstation. I was winning by 2 points with just under a minute and a half to play. My cousin overcame a fourth and 18 situation to score with one second left on the clock to take a 5 point lead. However, in Babe Ruth fashion, I made the boast that I was taking the kickoff all the way for a touchdown to win the game. Surely enough in the greatest comeback in football history, I scored and dropped to my knees with my hands in the air in Rocky-like fahsion. The eye of the tiger overcame all obstacles yet again.
One more note, last friday, I destroyed Bonsor in basketball by getting 12 points and 7 assists, including a beautiful spinning over the shoulder dish for a dunk. Our team won 21-15.
